Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, become the sixth highest box office opener of the year. The film opened on a grand note on October 28, collected a massive amount on its opening day at the Indian box office.
KJo’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, beat the first day box office collection record of Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (Rs 12.35 crore) but failed to surpass Rustom, Housefull 3, Fan, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Sultan’s opening day collection.
Released in over 2,350-2,500 screens (approx.) in India, the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil collected Rs 13.30 crore on its first day in the domestic market.
