‘Fanney Khan’ weekend box office: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer earns Rs 8.12 crore
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan has rounded up a sum of Rs 8.12 crore in the cinema world in its first weekend.
The film gathered Rs 2.15 crore on Friday, Rs 2.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.22 crore on Sunday, taking its aggregate to Rs 8.12 crore toward the first weekend box office collection. However, the movie has not been much opened to receive good reviews from the critics, but Anil Kapoor’s performance in the film alongside that of the debutant Pihu Sand (who plays Anil’s girl) have been greatly valued.
The story is one of its kind melodic comic drama, which rotates around a dad-daughter relationship, where the little girl tries to be a singer and the father does all what’s possible to make it true. Not just this, but what’s even more notable is that after a long time of 17 years, Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have collaborated for a film.
While Aishwarya plays a singing sensation – Baby Singh in the film, Rajkummar Rao depicts the love interest of Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor’s companion in the film. Fanney Khan is Atul Manjerekar’s movie as a director. However, Fanney Khan couldn’t assemble much footfalls in the weekend, it’ll be intriguing to perceive how the film does in the weekdays.
