“Operating as AI995/996, the aircraft is scheduled to depart Delhi daily at 20:45 hours, arriving at 22:45 hours in Dubai,” the airline mentioned in a statement on Thursday.

By mid-2024, Air India intends to begin operating these wide-body aircraft on foreign routes, according to a previous report from Mint. A top airline executive told news agency, Mint that the carrier has scheduled the delivery of six A350 aircraft by March.

The press announcement from the airline states that Air India’s return flight will leave Dubai at 00:15 the following day and arrive in Delhi at 04:55. These are all local times.

The exclusive A350 aircraft

The A350 planes used on the foreign route will include 28 Business class private rooms with full-flat beds. There will be 264 seats in economy class and 24 in premium economy. Currently, Air India has 72 weekly flights from five Indian locations to Dubai. Thirty-two flights originate from Delhi among the five locations.

With the introduction of the A350, all Air India foreign flights are anticipated to receive an improvement in terms of amenities, going beyond personal comforts. The airline is introducing lead-free Slovakian glassware, copper-gold serving plates for first-class passengers, Indian-inspired chinaware, and newly laundered bed linens. Following the launch of A350 international flights, passengers on Air India’s B777 and B787 aircraft can take use of these improved facilities on all international flights, according to a previous report by Mint correspondent, Anu Sharma.

In addition, passengers on Air India’s A350 and other aircraft will have an improved in-flight entertainment experience thanks to 2,200 hours of varied content, which includes audio, video, and TV series.
