“Colour India, Clean India” is an initiative started by actress and artist Shweta Rohira with 2B Foundation, an NGO
Actress Shweta Rohira started the initiative of beautification of police stations with a thought that painting the walls of the police stations will not only beautify the place giving them the vibrant look but spreading the colorful vibes in these places. And in appreciation and as a gratitude to these police men and women who protect our world and make it a better place and very safe place to live in, they are the best messengers in “Colour India, Clean India” initiative.
It also aims to keep the surrounding clean in support of “Swachh Bharat” initiative by Prime Minister of India @Narendramodi
As a part of this initiative she has painted Oshiwara Police station, DN Nagar police station, Versova and now Juhu Police station. She will be revisiting these police stations to paint more walls, She is aiming to paint all the walls available at these police stations. Apart from these, She will be painting many more police stations in the month of April. Every police stations painting will carry a theme of nature, women empowerment etc. It is so amazing to see the support from the staff at the police stations.
Many people are coming forward and joining hands by donating paints to bring beauty to police stations and joining the swachh Bharat movement
