“Count your days Bhatiya”: Karan Patel on Lucky, the dog who was beaten brutally in Mumbai

Karan Patel, the fame and the main lead of Star Plus starrer ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, expressed his anger at the death of Lucky, the dog who was beaten brutally by the watchmen of a Mumbai based society.

As soon as the actor learned about the dog’s demise and that he was brutally beaten on the orders of a society resident in Worli, he took it to his Instagram handle and posted a video with threatening slurs. In the video, Karan can be seen in a furious state while explaining the matter as of how Lucky came to the building to seek shelter during the heavy rains in Mumbai. He also threatened Bhatiya (the man who ordered the watchmen) and asked him to count his days by the time he will be back in Mumbai. He captioned the video as, “#Bhatiya and the #Watchman from the #Building in #Worli …. count your days ….. you Assholes #Beat the poor #Dog to #Death and its not going to be easy for you to get out of this one. #We #AnimalLovers will make sure that you Bastards are punished ….! (sic)”

The beating incident has received a backlash from many celebrities over the internet and an FIR has been filed against the watchmen of society. The Worli police subsequently arrested both the guards. Lucky was being treated at the Crown Veterinary Centre in Mahalakshmi before he lost the battle of survival.

As for Karan, he is currently shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 10) in Bulgaria.
