Shipra Malhotra releases music video single ‘InHerShoes’ on 40 digital platforms

Shipra Malhotra, a trained Hindustani classical singer-cum-vocalist from the Gwalior Gharana, who had earlier come out with a Hindi devotional track, has recently released her music video single titled ‘InHerShoes’ (written as one word) on 40 digital platforms.

The songwriter, composer and guitarist is the founder of Musik Factory, which she has dedicated to her guru — Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure Ji.

‘InHerShoes’ has been released by Hungama Digital Media Entertainment on around 40 digital platforms including iTunes IndiaiTunes InternationalAmazon MusicHungama DigitalWynk Music and Artist Aloud. Additionally, Hungama has also released a caller-tune for the number.

“Compared to traditional video and DVD markets, it is very interesting to tap digital platforms. The learned persons have said, music is a universal language. And the internet makes its reach instant and worldwide. Plus, it’s more cost-effective as one saves a lot on printing, publishing and distribution costs,” remarks Shipra.

She adds that “the ease of sharing content, makes internet a great medium where people all around the world are growing closer and closer through social media and communication.”

The release of Shipra’s single coincided with six live shows in four cities, where the singer-composer was showered with awards and honours by the NatrangNaatshalaand also by the first lady of Maharashtra Navy.

It can be noted here that Shipra is also the writer, singer, composer of the anthem for C.P.Goenka School which is sung by the school kids nationwide. She has also sung and composed the title track of the Bollywood English Golden Jubilee play titled Fourplay.

Since the last thirteen years, she has trained hundreds of students from various schools and colleges in Western and Hindustani vocals, along with teaching how to play and perform musical instruments. She has given many budding artistes a platform to write songs, sing and compose their own music. Her students have begun doing live shows all over the world including the United Kingdom, as well as the Hard Rock Café and Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai.

The singer-composer has shared the stage for social causes with stalwarts like Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan as well as budding cinema superstars like Alia  Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, and even walked the ramp for famous designers like Shaina NCAbu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, making her a truly talented and versatile personality.
