The fact is that not taking care of your sneakers can result in worn-out soles, fading colors, and the dreaded insole stink, regardless of your level of sneakerhead or casual fan. Hold on to your cherished sneakers—don’t give up on them!

In conversation with Limited Edt founder Mandeep Chopra gave some expert tips for the same.

  1. Frequent Rotation & Care: Keep your sneakers visible by placing them at the back of the shelf! Wear and tear is distributed by regular use. Add appropriate maintenance to that for a great combination.
  2. Shield & Cleanse: Use a high-quality repellent spray to shield your kicks from the weather. Instead of using a machine, clean your hands with a moist cloth, a toothbrush, and a cleaner designed especially for sneakers.

Material of the shoe must be prioritized

  • Make a quality tool and supply purchase.
  • Regularly clean by hand using the appropriate cleaners for each type of material.
  • Select the appropriate size to ensure maximum comfort and avoid stretching.
  • Shoes should be kept in a dry, cool environment with enough ventilation.

Must not do the following:

  • It’s not a good idea to machine wash or dry your sneakers.
  • Put an end to the smell of your insoles by wearing moisture-wicking socks and natural deodorizers.
  • Undervalue the significance of following the right care, size, and storage instructions for each type of cloth.
