Mahindra Sells Nearly 79,000 Vehicles in June 2025, SUV Sales Up 18%

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, continued its growth momentum in June 2025 with total auto sales of 78,969 vehicles, marking a 14% year-on-year growth, including exports.

Leading this growth was Mahindra’s ever-popular SUV portfolio, which saw 47,306 units sold in the domestic market, reflecting a robust 18% jump compared to June 2024. Including exports, total utility vehicle sales stood at 48,329 units. The brand’s Commercial Vehicle segment also showed resilience, with 20,575 units sold domestically.

“In June, we achieved SUV sales of 47,306 units, a growth of 18%, and total vehicle sales of 78,969 units, a 14% growth compared to the same month last year. The quarter ended on a very positive note for us, marking the highest quarter ever for SUVs.”

Passenger Vehicles (Domestic)

• Utility Vehicles (SUVs): 47,306 units (up 18%)

• Year-to-date (YTD) SUV sales: 1,52,067 units (up 22%)

Commercial Vehicles (Domestic)

• LCV < 2T: 2,576 units (down 20%)

• LCV 2T–3.5T: 16,772 units (up 4%)

• LCV > 3.5T + MHCV: 1,227 units (up 1%)

• 3-Wheelers (including electric 3Ws): 8,454 units (up 37%)

Exports (Including All Segments)

• June exports: 2,634 units (up 1%)

• YTD exports: 9,667 units (up 36%)

Mahindra’s strong June performance comes on the back of growing demand for its SUVs, expanding electric vehicle options, and consistent export growth. As the company closes out the quarter, it does so with record-breaking SUV sales, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s dynamic auto market.
