Akshay Kumar starrer Sky Force set to cross the ₹100 crore milestone soon
Sky Force was formally announced in 2023, and production was completed in 2024 before it was released in 2025.

Prior to Republic Day, Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani’s patriotic film Sky Force, which starred Veer Pahariya, Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan in key roles, was released. The movie is almost to the ₹100 crore net mark in India, according to Sacnilk.
According to the website, on its tenth day, Sky Force made about ₹5.25 crore net in India, bringing its total to ₹99.75 crore net.
On its first day of release, the movie brought in ₹12.25 crore net, and throughout its first week, it brought in ₹86.5 crore. It earned ₹3 crore on Friday and ₹5 crore on Saturday after a sharp increase. In the morning and afternoon shows, its occupancy was 10.98% and 29.62%, respectively, while in the evening, it was 40.53%.
The movie made ₹111.7 crore in India, according to its producers, Maddock Films and Jio Studios, who also said that it generated ₹4.6 crore on day 8, ₹7.4 crore on day 9, and ₹99.7 crore in its first week.
The film features story of the attack on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air conflict, which was India’s first airstrike.
In conversation with ANI, Veer said, “I think it is a very personal story. It is a very human story. And it is about family. It is about brotherhood. It is about friendship and loyalty. My only wish is that it works like Lakshya film…when that movie came, it inspired people for 20 years to join the force and serve the country.”
He continued, “Sky Force will also be a film through which the next 20-30 years young people of our country will be inspired and they will know what our forefathers have done for our freedom. So that you and I can sit and talk like this.”
