Pomplun appeared in the Paramount Pictures’ motion picture, “The Gambler” starring Mark Wahlberg, as well as “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”.

Excerpt from an interaction with Raquel Pomplun.
You career graph started as a model, moving on to becoming an actress, from ad to the screen how was your experience.
Raquel: It’s been phenomenal! I never imagined that I would go down this career path in the first place, so in a way to have the success that I’ve had and how one thing has lead to another is certainly goal fulfilling and very satisfying.
What’s has been your coolest experience so far?
Raquel: Coolest experience so far has been to work on the set of The Gambler with Mark Wahlberg. Even though only a tiny scene made it to the movie, I was on set a full day shooting different scenes and working with Mark was amazing.
You are actress, model, dancer, and also a broadcaster. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Raquel: Before I entered the entertainment business, I was studying Biochemistry, so if this ever ends, I would go back to the sciences.
Before this flurry of success, did you ever have moments where you wondered if things would work out?
Raquel: Absolutely, all the time! This industry is a gambling industry. You may have the talent but not the look, or vice versa. All odds are always against you and you just have to go through them.
What about you personally? Do you ever feel like you’ve been judged unfairly because of what you do?
Raquel: No, not at all, and if I have I have not realise it. This is an industry where all you are is being judged, so you take it or you leave it. You learn to live under constant judgement and become a stronger believer of yourself to keep going.
What are some of the best gifts you’ve gotten from fans?
Raquel: The one best gift from my fans is their loyalty and support. Nothing compares to that specially when they can recall things that you probably have forgotten but were an important impact for them.
What’s turns you on?
Raquel: Intelligence.
What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
Raquel: I’ve come to the conclusion that I have no shame because I can never recall the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Raquel: I am very cautious, but maybe zip lining in Costa Rica I don’t know how many feet above ground, but pretty intensely high, must be the craziest thing ever!
What are the perks of dating you?
Raquel: Hahahaha, who knows! Ask my husband!
Do you dare to share your bad habits 🙂
Raquel: I am very OCD, so I don’t have a lot of bad habits…
