The new photo of Paul Mescal and Ayo Edebiri has grabbed everyone’s attention on the internet. Ayo recently shared a sweet photo of the actors getting close on Instagram Stories to mark St. Patrick’s Day. The two sat on a staircase, with Ayo wrapping her arms over Paul’s shoulder.
“Happy St Paddy’s,” Ayo Edebiri wrote below their picture. Soon later, fans shared the photo on social media, wondering if Paul Mescal and Ayo were dating. Some people also wondered if they were working on a secret project. However, it is unclear if the image was taken lately or is a throwback photo to an earlier time when the stars were hanging together.

Reacting to this pic, one user wrote, “They look beautiful together.” Another said, “I love Ayo Edebiri. She looks so happy with Paul.” One user also wrote, “They both have an energy I really like; I think they’d have great chemistry together.”
This is not the first time Paul and Ayo have been seen together. In the previous year, they’ve appeared to be friendly, frequently posing for photographs together at events.
Earlier, Paul told Awards Watch in November 2023 that he would want to work with Ayo on a romantic comedy. He said, “Comedy scares me deeply because I think I saw Bottoms recently and I was in awe of how they do that. That’s one of those I leave the cinema and I’m incredibly jealous and brightened of everybody’s talents involved with that film. But I think in the next five years I’m going to set myself a challenge to do maybe a rom-com with Ayo [Edebiri] or something like that would be cool.”
