Sharon Stone, a Hollywood actress, has disclosed the identity of the producer who pushed her to sleep with her co-stars. In her memoir in 2021, Sharon said that a producer asked her to sleep with one of her co-stars. However, she did not go into detail regarding what had happened. However, in a recent podcast interview, Sharon said that it was producer Robert Evans who asked her to have sex with her co-star, William Baldwin, when they were filming Sliver. She said he asked her to sleep with him so he could better his acting in the film.
As per The Guardian, Sharon said on the Louis Theroux podcast, “[Evans is] running around his office in sunglasses explaining that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because [then] his performance would get better.”
Sharon, who has worked on films including Total Recall, The Mighty, Casino, and The Last Action Hero, also mentioned Basic Instinct. The actress featured with Michael Douglas. The actress blamed the studios for bad casting, claiming,“I didn’t have to fuck Michael Douglas. Michael could come to work and know how to hit those marks, and do that line, and rehearse and show up. Now all of a sudden I’m in the ‘I have to fuck people’ business.”
She stated she was labelled as a difficult person and hence not awarded a big role in Martin Scorsese’s film Casino. For the movie, she received an Oscar nomination.
