Chhaava: The historical action drama to cross ₹400 crore soon; deets here

Since its February 14 release, the historical action movie starring Vicky Kaushal has maintained an outstanding run at the box office. In India, the Laxman Utekar-directed movie is currently approaching the ₹400 crore milestone.

On day 13 of its release, the movie brought in ₹21.75 crore net at the box office, according to Sacnilk. A total of ₹385 crore has been collected.

The movie incurred massive profit on Maha Shivratri holiday. The movie brought in ₹21.75 crore on day 13 after registering ₹18.5 crore on day 12. On Wednesday, the movie’s overall occupancy rate in Hindi was 34.10 percent.

Foot traffic was 25.23% in the morning, 40.64 percent in the afternoon, and 36.42 percent in the evening. The movie had previously made over 200 crore rupees. After its February 14 release, the movie brought in ₹31 crore at the box office.

The movie’s global box office receipts are also creating waves outside of India. Globally, the movie has made around ₹250 crore.

Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar, features the valorous story of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It also starred Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, Divya Dutta, and Diana Penty in supporting roles.
