Chhaava: Vicky Kaushal’s historic drama slacks off on day 5 with ₹24 crore
Devendra Fadnavis, the chief minister of Maharashtra, has been requested by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to declare the film tax-free in the state.

The recent movie starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna was released last week, and both reviewers and fans have been giving it impressive marks. The film had a tremendous run at the box office because of its outstanding performance. The movie’s momentum seems to have somewhat slowed down.
On day five, Chhaava made ₹24.50 crore, according to trade tracker Sacnilk, bringing the total to ₹165.00 crore.
Even though the movie’s fifth-day box office performance has remained in the double digits, it is still less than its prior revenues. On day four, the movie brought in ₹24 crore, a 50.52 percent drop in revenue.
The movie made ₹31 crore at the beginning, ₹37 crore on day two, and ₹48.5 crore on day three.
On Tuesday, the historical drama’s overall occupancy rate in Hindi was 26.12%. In the morning, 18.19 percent of people were seen, followed by 26.42 percent in the afternoon and 33.76 percent in the evening.
Chhaava, a historical action movie directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, is based on the life of Maratha ruler Sambhaji, who is portrayed by Vicky Kaushal. It stars Divya Dutta as Soyarabai, Rashmika Mandanna asMaharani Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, and Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite. It is based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava. Irshad Kamil wrote the lyrics, and A. R. Rahman created the soundtrack album and the movie’s score.
