On June 27, Nag Ashwin’s awaited film Kalki 2898 AD was released. Acnilk.com reports that the movie, which starred Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, made ₹300.6 crore (in all Indian languages).
Kalki 2898 AD box office figures
In India, Kalki 2898 AD earned ₹95.3 crore on its first day of release and ₹57.6 crore on Friday across all languages. The movie brought in more money on Saturday, earning ₹67.1 crore on the same day and ₹83.2 crore on Sunday. The movie now has a total of ₹300.6 crore. In three days, the movie made ₹415 crore globally. It’s unclear if the movie will continue to have success during the workdays.
Humhu on his shooting experience
In conversation with Viral Bollywood, Humhu shared, “There is no scene with Amitabh Bachchan in this film. Hopefully there will be in the next part. But I got some very good scenes with Prabhas and Deepika. Prabhas is rightly called ‘darling’. He taught me personally. In an action sequence, he took me to a side and gave me tips. He didn’t need to do it, I’m a newcomer, and I was already a fan. But he gave me tips like an elder brother.”
