Despite receiving mostly negative reviews, Siva’s fantasy action epic, which stars Bobby Deol and Suriya, has been doing very well at the domestic box office. According to Sacnilk, the movie’s extended opening weekend in India saw it surpass the ₹50 crore milestone.

Kanguva’s Sunday earnings of ₹8.61 crore represented a decrease from its Saturday earnings of ₹9.85 crore. Compared to Friday’s earnings of ₹9.50 crore, that was a slight increase. But the massive opening on Thursday, which hit ₹24 crore in all five languages (Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam) in that order, was a sharp contrast to the Friday collection.

Kanguva’s prolonged opening weekend has now brought in ₹51.96 crore in all five languages, surpassing the ₹50 crore mark at the domestic box office after adding ₹8.61 crore to its total revenue.
