Florence Pugh is back in action on the Thunderbolts set. She recently provided fans with a special behind-the-scenes peek. Her return to superhero mode is exciting and her fans are buzzing with excitement. Thunderbolts seems to be a blockbuster that Marvel fans won’t want to miss, with Pugh leading the charge alongside the rest of the amazing cast.
Taking to her Instagram account, Florence gave fans a rare sneak peek from the Atlanta studio where Thunderbolts is currently filming. Pugh promises high-octane action as she returns as the dangerous assassin Yelena Belova, a role she previously played in Black Widow and then repeated in Hawkeye.
The set video shows one of Yelena’s classy fighting costumes, hinting at the ferocity of her upcoming fights. Notably, Pugh’s portrayal is enhanced with striking blue eyeliner, which adds another element of attraction to her character’s violent character.
In the video, the actress can be heard saying, “Hey guys, how are you doing? I know I’ve dropped off for a little bit, but that’s partially because I was whisked off to Atlanta to shoot a movie that I’m not really supposed to talk about. But I can show you things sneakily, as long as you don’t tell anyone…I can show you a sneak peek of the set. They’re shooting. I’ll be quiet now.”

Pugh also focused her camera on one of the playback monitors, revealing Yelena Belova in the film’s first official look, geared up for action., “I don’t even think you’re supposed to be doing this.” Pugh can be heard saying, “Someone is going to come rugby tackle me.”

Disney will be releasing Thunderbolts on May 2, 2025, which will be an addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
