Princess Diana’s efforts in humanitarian issues earned her the title of “People’s Princess.” By upkeeping his late mother’s charitable endeavors, Prince William has continued her legacy.
That being said, he says he misses his mother and believes the current situation, which shows a large number of homeless people, would have disappointed her.Meeting his wife, Kate Middleton, and his three kids was something the Prince of Wales really wanted.
Among her many charity endeavors was aiding the underprivileged; Prince William has reportedly continued to do good work by volunteering his time to assist the homeless, citing observations made by The Mirror that he seen his mother working in the field.
The Prince of Wales has researched homelessness in great detail, particularly how it has been increasing in recent years. A royal family member has also contributed a sizable sum to foundations and charities that support the underprivileged. William has stated that he hopes to involve his kids in humanitarian activities when the time comes.
The prince shared, “My mother introduced me to the cause of homelessness at quite a young age, and I’m really glad she did. I think she would be disappointed that we are still no further on in terms of tackling homelessness and preventing it than when she was interested and involved in it.”
His message went on to say that the prince wished to continue working on the cause for years to come, not just temporarily. “Spotlight on this solvable issue not just today but in the months and years to come,” he stated.
As per reports from the Daily Express US, Prince William proclaimed, βIn the years ahead, I hope to bring George, Charlotte and Louis to see the fantastic organizations doing inspiring work to support those most in need, just as my mother did for me.β
In 2017, Prince William vented his resentment at his brother for bringing up Princess Diana during media appearances. He had told his brother in the past that they shouldn’t bring up their late mother too often.
