The movie “Blade Runner 2049” is a revisit to Ridley Scott’s sci-fi cult classic “Blade Runner” which was made 35 years back in 1982. LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) is on the journey to uncover a secret which makes him meet a former blade runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) who was in oblivion for the last 30 years.

Picking up this subject and then recreating the magic in a bigger manner speaks loudly of the talent of Denis Villeneuve. Moreover, he has been supported well by the magnificent cinematography of Roger Deakins, the man who has been nominated 13 times for Academy Awards and we are sure of his nomination for the 14th time. The background score has contributed a lot in making this movie a must watch and we praise Hans Zimmer for his wonderful work.

Harrison Ford is a great actor and it is always a visual treat to watch him acting while Ryan Gosling has also given a great performance. The actors such as Mackenzie Davis, Robin Wright and Sylvia Hoeks have also given memorable performances despite their small roles but one actress who gets noticed specially is Ana de Armas. Additionally, Jared Leto has also impressed a lot.

If you are a Hollywood movie fan and love to watch sci-fi, you just can’t afford to miss “Blade Runner 2049”.
