Salman Khan’s action-thriller Sikandar was released in theaters on March 30, Eid 2025. The movie had a mixed reception when it was released, but on its first Monday, it witnessed some growth. But it appears that the movie had trouble keeping up following the Eid break.

On the second day of its release, Sikandar brought in ₹29 crore, according to Sacnilk. The movie made ₹17.81 crore at the box office on its first Tuesday (day 3), bringing its total to ₹72.81 crore. At present, the total amount collected globally is ₹95 crore.

However, the makers claim that the movie has surpassed the ₹100 crore milestone at the global box office, earning ₹35.47 crore on day 1 and ₹39 crore on day 2 in India. The statistics seem a little disappointing for a Salman Khan movie.

It also starsPrateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles

Director AR Murugadoss in conversation with PTI, “When you are working with superstars, you cannot be 100 per cent true to the script. We have to compromise for the audience, for the fan base, for the opening. We cannot be 100 per cent genuine as a director. We have to satisfy the fans and think about them. It is difficult to be in that zone.”
