Salman Khan returned with an Eid release after two years, but his film Sikandar hasn’t lived up to the fans’ expectations. On the eighth day of its release, the movie has made it into the ₹100 crore club in India, according to the recent box office update on Sacnilk.com.
Sikandar made ₹4.25 crore on the eighth day of release, according to the report’s numbers, bringing its eight-day total to ₹102 crore net. Its opening revenue of ₹26 crore was significantly lower than Chhaava’s ₹31 crore. At the conclusion of its first week, Sikandar had collected 90.25 crore rupees.
At the global box office, the film is edging closer to the ₹200 crore club. The production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, released an update stating that throughout its seven-day run, the movie brought in ₹187.84 crore worldwide.
The action thriller directed by AR Murugadoss featured Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar
Just hours before its scheduled premiere, Sikandar was leaked online. “The producer had the authorities pull the film down from 600 sites last night, but the harm had been done. The multiplication continued and is still continuing. Condemnable act which could cost the producer of the Salman-starrer dear,” Nahta wrote.
