Aamir to play the lead in “Mahabharata”; Bollywood’s next gigantic project

Bollywood’s very own Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan is awaiting the release of his upcoming adventure film ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the next enormous Bollywood project is a period saga and furthermore stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. It is set to release in November this year.

The buzz is that after the release of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, Aamir will begin taking a shot at his dream venture, which will be an adaptation of ‘Mahabharata’. What’s more, the most recent photographs of the star from the Mumbai airplane terminal suggested that he has just got himself into the planning mode.

Aamir was as of late snapped by the picture takers at Mumbai air terminal with a book, titled ‘The Condensed Mahabharata of Vyasa’. The perfectionist is known to be one of those unquenchable perusers from the B-town. He has been more often than not seen carrying a book, which he reads during his journeys. In any case, the actor reading a book on ‘Mahabharata’ has dropped real hints of him teaming up for a task regarding the matter.

Long back, there were rumors that ‘Baahubali’ director SS Rajamouli was quick to make a motion picture on ‘Mahabharata’ and he even had discussions with Aamir on it. This allegedly happened much before ‘Baahubali 2’ was made.

In March this year, theories were overflowing that a film series on the colossal Indian epic ‘Mahabharata’ is on the blacksmith’s iron and Aamir was drawn closer by the director to play the lead in it. Reports expressed that the project is evaluated to be made at an astounding Rs 1,000 crore and will be co-produced by Mukesh Ambani.

In spite of the fact that there has been no official affirmation about the same till date, reports likewise asserted that the performing artist has effectively given his gesture to it.
