The anticipation around BTS’s full member reunion has been growing with each day especially with the update of their conclusion of the military service.

After a wait of almost three years, reunion is scheduled for June. RM and V will be released on June 10 and 11, respectively, and Jimin and Jungkook have already returned. SUGA meanwhile will be completing his service by June 21, 2025.

On May 22, BTS ARMY meanwhile slammed the new slogan featured over HYBE’s Yongsan building. The message, that promoted different group SEVENTEEN, read: “SEVENTEEN WILL CHALLENGE ETERNITY.”

This new banner surpassed BTS’ iconic slogan, “BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE,” merely weeks ahead the group’s homecoming and celebrated purple month.

Fan called out the agency for copying the concept of BTS and especially RM’s vision planned for their 10th anniversary. ARMYs stormed the Twitter and Instagram expressing their anger.

A fan wrote, “That’s so disgusting, I don’t care abt anything, but here HYBE labels stole Namjoon’s idea, HYBE.” Another added, “It was Namjoon’s unique idea to display afbf on the HYBE building. It’s been done on a building built by BTS’ success, on BTS’ personal request.” A third wrote, “HYBE better rip off that SVT label before June starts.”

A comment read, “So HYBE replaced ‘BTS represents everywhere’ with a slogan for a group that wouldn’t even be here without BTS opening the doors?” Another agreed, “This better be gone by June 1st like that’s purple month.”

What caused the replacement with SEVENTEEN’s (SVT) slogan

SEVENTEEN’s is set to celebrate their 10th anniversary on May 26, 2025. As part of their promotional campaign, the group has taken over the HYBE building’s facade with the new banner. SEVENTEEN fans, known as CARAT, defended the move.

One CARAT commented, “Seventeen has always done this when they release a new album. Now that they’re part of HYBE, it just happens to take place in that building. They’re not offending or disrespecting anyone. BTS has always shown love and respect for other groups, so why this behavior?” Another added, “Chill guys, it’s their Anniversary coming—calm down.”

K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN is getting ready to play live on Good Morning America (GMA) next week, captivating audiences in the United States. Days after making their much-anticipated return with their 13th mini-album, SPILL THE FEELS, the trio announced on October 23 that they would perform on October 30. To watch the trio in action, fans may tune in to the well-liked morning chat program starting at 7 a.m. local time (8 p.m. KST).

Meanwhile, the lead song from SPILL THE FEELS, “Love, Money, Fame,” featuring DJ Khaled, has already created a lot of traction. From vulnerability to resilience, the six-song EP explores a spectrum of unfiltered emotions. Fans were kept on their toes by the album’s promotional campaign, which featured three different sets of concept photos—FEEL BLUE, FEEL NEW, and FEEL YOU—as well as an animated teaser that alluded to the DJ Khaled collaboration and visual track samplers.

The album’s title, SPILL THE FEELS, adds depth by emphasizing its central themes of facing and mending emotional wounds. It is an anagram for I FELT HELPLESS. The remaining members will put on an amazing performance on GMA, despite the bittersweet absence of members Jeonghan and Jun, who were enlisted in the military and have acting commitments in China, respectively.

Stray Kids’ “ATE” extended its sixth non-consecutive week at the top of the World Albums chart, marking an incredible triumphant return. It also extended its 12-week run on the Billboard 200 at #102.

Fans of SEVENTEEN are brimming with anticipation and curiosity following the release of a mysterious teaser for their eagerly anticipated 12th mini album. The teaser was released by the group on September 13 at midnight KST. It features a hauntingly quiet train platform with the cryptic phrase “I FELT HELPLESS.”

This new album is SEVENTEEN’s first release in six months following the publication of their best-of album 17 IS RIGHT HERE. It is scheduled for release in three separate formats on October 15 at 6 p.m. KST, with pre-orders opening on September 13. According to reports, the group has completed filming the music video for the new single, “Title.”

It was recently reported by PLEDIS Entertainment that Jeonghan will be absent from the group’s promotional activities as he enlists for mandatory military service on October 26. Additionally, his enlistment will prevent him from embarking on the SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE world tour, which begins in Korea this October and travels to the US, Japan, and other countries.

Likewise, Jun will not be participating in the promotions since he is pursuing acting roles in China later this year.

But before the group’s temporary lineup changes, on September 11, SEVENTEEN sent their devoted fan base a warm-hearted film depicting all 13 members of the group in their genuine selves having a meal. Additionally, it was verified that Jeonghan and Jun both contributed entirely to the upcoming mini-album, guaranteeing their involvement in what looks to be a treat that CARATs won’t soon forget.

Woozi, one of SEVENTEEN's primary producers, responded to the allegations by refuting them in a recent Instagram post.

Recently, Woozi, the producer and member of the popular K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN, responded on Instagram to the false allegations leveled against the group regarding the use of artificial intelligence in their music.

Woozi slammed the allegations and said, “SEVENTEEN’s music is written and composed by humans”.

Woozi’s reaction

According to a July 10, 2024, BBC article, some K-pop groups are utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) in their songwriting. The article mocked the internationally renowned K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN.

Not surprisingly, the report infuriated both the boy group’s fan base and itself.

In a new Instagram story, he wrote “All of SEVENTEEN’s music is written and composed by human creators”.

Excerpts from the previously mentioned article claiming that SEVENTEEN used AI to create music for their latest lead track MAESTRO “may well include AI-generated lyrics too” were posted by Woozi on July 14, 2024, and later deleted.

Following the above story’s deletion, Woozi swiftly and decisively refuted any and all claims made about AI.
