Irrfan Khan and Parvathy starrer “Qarib Qarib Singlle” is one more magnum opus of Irrfan and like all his movies, he seems to have played his character with utter perfection. Needless to say, the actor steals the show with his flawless performance which is why his career graph is in the upward direction.
Talking about the flick, it’s an unusual love story in which two different and almost single characters begin a unique journey which shortly gets converted into an exciting trip.
Irrfan appears to have brilliant comic timing which is undoubtedly a rare quality in actors. At one fell swoop, it’s creditable on the part of Parvathy not to lose her spark and fully complement Irrfan at every place. Shooting of the movie has been done in different cities on Ganga river’s banks.
“Saath jeene marne wali story nahi hai humari” (Ours isn’t the live together-die together kind of love story), which is the caption of the movie, clearly gives an idea that it’s a light hearted comedy flick and audience must not expect it to be an emotional tale. It will offer viewers a comedy ride full of entertainment and smiles and they will surely like it.
Parvathy is a Malayalam actress and with “Qarib Qarib Singlle”, she is making a debut in Bollywood. Tanuja Chandra is also making a comeback in the field of direction after 11-yr long gap. She’s famous for directing thriller flicks “Dushman” and “Sangharsh” and 2006 released “Hope and a Little Sugar” was her last movie.
