The Standard has launched StanCorp Global Services India Private Limited, its new Global Capability Center in India, designed to boost innovation, technological transformation and global growth.
Veteran executive Mohua Sengupta has been appointed senior vice president and country head. Sengupta, who most recently led Novartis India GCC, brings nearly 30 years of BFSI and IT leadership experience.
“I’m excited to welcome Mohua… she will be an incredible asset,” said Greg Chandler, executive vice president of Information Technology.
Sengupta said, “I’m delighted to join The Standard during this exciting time of rapid growth. The Standard India will provide access to specialized global talent… and scale more sustainably.”
The center, with sites in Bengaluru and Pune, will begin with 175 employees from Allstate India following The Standard’s April 2025 acquisition.
