Exports Drive Growth as Carraro India Expands Axle Capacity

Carraro India Limited reported 29% year-on-year growth in export revenues for 9M FY26, reaching INR 6,027 million, supported by sustained momentum in construction equipment, particularly Tele Boom Handlers (TBH) and export of Backhoe Loaders (BHL).

Total income for 9M FY26 stood at INR 16,698 million, up 21% year-on-year. EBITDA (including other income) increased 28% to INR 1,765 million, with margins at 10.6%. PAT stood at INR 889 million, up 38% year-on-year.

In Q3 FY26, total income rose 27% to INR 5,768 million, while EBITDA increased 71% to INR 624 million. PAT rose 91% to INR 281 million.

The company deployed INR 304 million capex during 9M FY26 to support new telescopic handler axle production, high-performance transmission range for agricultural applications, and incremental capacity. The Board has approved a capex outlay of INR 623 million to expand axle capacity from 1,15,000 to up to 1,54,160 over the next 18 months. The plant is currently operating at over 90% utilization.
