Godrej Enterprises Group, through RenTRUST, has inaugurated a Forklift Training Center in Pune, aimed at strengthening operator skills and improving safety standards across factories, warehouses and logistics hubs.
Located in Bhosari, the 2,000 sq. ft. centre delivers certified forklift training through a combination of classroom learning, safety protocols and practical evaluation. The programme is designed to enhance employability while aligning operator capabilities with the needs of India’s expanding manufacturing and warehousing ecosystem. The facility can train and certify more than 45 candidates each month.
The Material Handling Equipment business of GEG has already trained and certified over 3,500 operators through its skilling initiatives. With the launch of the Pune centre, the company aims to upskill an additional 500 operators by FY26. As part of its diversity and inclusion focus, the training programme offers a 50% fee concession for women candidates.
