Strengthening its commitment to environmental responsibility, the Appliances Business of Godrej Enterprises Group has introduced a new awareness campaign designed to drive home the dangers of irresponsible e-waste disposal. Titled ‘The e-waste that we eat, but shouldn’t’, the campaign extends Godrej’s India v/s E-Waste initiative with a sharper focus on school communities.
Through immersive workshops in 200+ schools and eye-catching installations crafted from discarded appliance parts, Godrej is simplifying a complex message: toxic e-waste can return to the human body through contaminated soil and water. Short social-media videos featuring everyday foods made of e-waste imagery reinforce the campaign’s message digitally.
Executives say the campaign reflects Godrej’s purpose-led approach to sustainability and its belief in empowering younger generations to make environmentally sound choices.
