The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) has partnered with Amar Chitra Katha to introduce a new investor education comic series aimed at strengthening financial literacy.
Launched by Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), at CDSL’s 3rd Annual Symposium, the initiative translates complex financial and often overlooked topics into engaging story-led narratives.
On launch of the series, Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), said, “Investor awareness is fundamental to building inclusive and transparent securities markets. I commend the depositories for their efforts in the areas of investor education and awareness. Initiatives like the launch of a comic book series will go a long way in spreading investor awareness. Campaigns such as ‘Slam the Scam’ and ‘AtmanirbHER’ have helped empower individuals to participate with greater confidence.”
Shri Nehal Vora, Managing Director and CEO, CDSL, said, “Investor education is most effective when it is simple, relatable and trustworthy. By partnering with Amar Chitra Katha, we are leveraging the power of storytelling to empower investors with knowledge that enables informed and confident financial decision-making.”
The comic series is available in 12 languages and will be distributed in both digital and print formats through investor protection programmes.
