TPREL posts strongest-ever quarter, adds 941 MW renewable capacity in Q3FY26

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) delivered its strongest-ever quarterly performance in Q3FY26, commissioning 941 MW of renewable energy capacity, a 139% jump over the same quarter last year.

For the first nine months of FY26, the company commissioned 1.88 GW of renewable capacity, up 33% year-on-year, driven by robust execution of both in-house and third-party EPC projects.

TPREL has now commissioned 10 GW of EPC renewable projects cumulatively, comprising 9.7 GW of solar and 290 MW of wind capacity. These include 4.2 GW of in-house projects and 5.8 GW executed for external clients.

Of the capacity added during April–December FY26, 1,329 MW of solar projects were delivered for third-party customers, while 546 MW was commissioned for in-house projects, including 187 MW of wind capacity.

The quarter also saw the commissioning of major projects such as DCR-compliant solar installations for NHPC, NLC and SJVNL in Rajasthan, along with a 187 MW wind project in Tamil Nadu.

TPREL attributed the strong performance to advanced engineering practices, efficient supply chain management and strong vendor partnerships, enabling timely execution even in challenging operating conditions.
