Uttar Pradesh is strengthening its eco-tourism portfolio with the development of a new destination near Dudhwa National Park, led by BVG India in partnership with the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board (UPETDB).
The project includes the development of ‘BVG India Resort’ at Chandan Chowki in Lakhimpur Kheri district. Spread across five acres, the resort is scheduled to be fully operational by March 2026 and is designed as a nature-centric retreat focused on wellness and cultural experiences.
Built using environmentally sensitive design principles, the resort integrates with its forest surroundings while offering modern hospitality infrastructure. Facilities include accommodation options, recreational amenities, food and beverage services and spaces for small conferences and social gatherings.
BVG India is responsible for planning, designing, developing, financing and operating the resort, along with managing approvals, compliance and promotional activities. The project aims to create a distinctive tourism offering combining wildlife experiences with wellness-based tourism.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Hanmantrao Gaikwad, Chairman, BVG India said, “BVG India Resort is an expression of our belief that tourism must respect nature and create opportunities for local communities. Through this project near Dudhwa, we have sought to create a destination that allows visitors to experience the region’s natural beauty and cultural richness, while preserving what makes it unique. This is a long-term commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism in Uttar Pradesh.”
