Vascon Engineers Ltd. has built a dedicated 18,000 sq. ft. Centre of Excellence at COEP aimed at accelerating adoption of advanced construction technologies.
The Centre will focus on sustainable and prefabricated building materials, robotics and modular systems, smart infrastructure, BIM and digital site tools, automation, analytics, and green building practices.
The platform is expected to support research, testing, pilot deployments, and technology demonstrations relevant to the construction and infrastructure sectors.
In partnership with CREDAI and the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), the Centre will also house a state-of-the-art Plumbing Lab to strengthen technical skill development.
The facility will offer students and researchers hands-on exposure to real-world construction technologies while facilitating collaboration between academia and industry stakeholders.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R.
