Easter is almost approaching, and spring is in the air. Making some delectable desserts together is a great way to spend quality time with your loved ones at this special time of year.
These three simple Easter recipes are full of flavor and won’t take you hours to prepare, whether you’re serving a cozy breakfast for loved ones or entertaining.
Strawberry Flavoured Glazed Chicken

Ingredients used
- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast
- ½ cup strawberry syrup
- 1 pinch rosemary
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped basil
- 2 teaspoons chicken stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Basil sprigs for garnish
Procedure
- Using a meat tenderizer, uniformly flatten the chicken breast on all sides.
- Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces after it is tender.
- Make a marinade with chopped basil, garlic, rosemary, olive oil, and strawberry syrup.
- Mix the marinade with salt and pepper.
- After adding the chicken pieces, let the mixture rest for fifteen minutes.
- Add oil to a grill pan and cook the chicken for a few minutes on both sides.
- Heat up some oil in a pan, then add the syrup and garlic to make the sauce.
- To the pan, add chicken stock, chopped rosemary, basil, and salt and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens.
- Transfer the chicken slices onto a plate and drizzle with the hot basil-strawberry sauce. Enjoy!
Refreshing Green Apple Mint

Ingredients
- 2 green apples (ideally Granny Smith)
- ½ cup mint leaves 3-4 celery stalks
- 1 seedless cucumber
- 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1-inch ginger
Method
- Cut the apples into pieces.
- Slice the celery lengthwise, then thinly chop them into chunks.
- Cut the cucumber into pieces.
- Chop and peel the ginger.
- In a blender, combine all the ingredients. Add a small amount of water if necessary to make blending easier.
- After straining the juice, add several ice cubes, sliced cucumber, and lemon as garnish.
Crispy Sweet Corn and Roti Nachos

Ingredients used
- 500 grams sweet corn kernels
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3-4 leftover rotis
- Oil for frying
Procedure:
- Adjust the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and cover a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Coat the sweet corn kernels evenly in melted butter or olive oil by tossing them in a bowl.
- After adding paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the corn kernels, toss them once again for even coating.
- Arrange the seasoned corn kernels on the baking sheet that has been preheated in a single layer.
- Bake, tossing halfway through, for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the corn is crispy and starting to turn golden brown.
- Remaining rotis should be cut into small triangles like nachos and deep-fried till crisp and cold.
- Now arrange the corn and the crispy fried rotis in layers, cover with melted cheddar cheese, and garnish with parmesan cheese and spices.
