Don’t throw out banana peel! Here are 4 ways to use it on your face

Bananas are a popular ingredient in breakfast bowls and baked goods, but their peels are often thrown away. Banana peels offer a variety of uses that go far beyond the compost bin. When used correctly, banana peels may relieve skin irritation, brighten the skin, erase dark circles, decrease blemishes and promote skin firmness. Banana peels include a variety of elements, including antioxidants. Take a look at 5 ways to use banana peel on the face.

1. Rub banana peel on the face

The inside part of a banana peel can be rubbed over the face. It is rubbed on the face and left on for 10 minutes before being washed. By rubbing this peel on the skin, it provides anti-ageing benefits while also removing dead skin cells.

2. Banana Peels and Honey

The skin glows when banana peels and honey are applied to the face. Roughly chop the banana peels to make this face pack. Mix in half a spoon of turmeric and one spoon of honey. After using this paste on your face for ten to fifteen minutes, wash it off.

3. Banana Peel and Coconut Oil

Make a face pack by crushing banana peels and adding a little coconut oil and one spoon of honey to it. Apply it to your face, let it for 20 minutes, and then wash it off. The skin gets moisture.

4. Banana Peels and Yogurt

You’ll need both banana peel and banana slices to prepare this face pack. Chop the banana peels finely and put them in a bowl. Put two slices of banana, one spoonful of curd, and one spoonful of honey in it. After well mixed, apply this face pack on your face for 15 to 20 minutes before cleansing and washing.
