Holi isn’t fun until you play with colours on the day of the celebration. This is the time when complaints and grievances are settled by using colours. However, the joy of Holi turns into a problem when the colour reaches the walls and corners of the house and the stains on the house later appear quite dirty. Here are some tips to remove Holi colours from walls.
Tips to clean wall after Holi
Make a baking soda solution to clean your home’s walls if there is any paint on them. Put this mixture into a spray bottle and spray the coloured surface. Now use a towel to rub the wall. This will make it easier to remove the paint. Aside from that, to remove the colours from the walls, rub a lemon with baking soda. Now rub the lemon over the colored area. This will assist in removing the colour. Finally, wash the wall with water. The colour will come off easily.
Another effective method for removing colour from a wall is to soak a cotton cloth in hot water and then rub it on the covered area to clean it. This will also effectively remove stains.
Vinegar is also highly effective in removing colour stains from walls. Pour one cup of vinegar into a vessel, add lemon juice, then create a solution by combining baking soda and dish soap. Clean the wall with a sponge. This will restore the wall’s shine to its earlier state.
If there is a stain on your house’s walls, use toothpaste and gently massage it with a brush. When the colour begins to fade, wash the wall with water. This will also erase the colour quickly.
