On Wednesday, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani exchanged vows in front of a large group of family members and close friends, including celebrities from the film industry. The pair had a stunning sundowner wedding in Goa where they exchanged vows. For the opulent ceremony, Rakul and Jackky went with floral themes and pastel colors.
“Mine now and forever 21-02-2024 #abdonobhagna-ni,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post. Both Rakul and Jackky chose their wedding attires from the designer label Tarun Tahiliani. While Rakul slipped into a pastel pink lehenga for her big day, Jackky complemented his wife in an ivory sherwani. Read our detailed description of both their ensembles below.
This pastel pink lehenga set by Rakul has a fitted silhouette, a wide U neckline, beaded detailing on the cropped hem, a cropped choli with extended sheer sleeves embellished with pearl button closures, and sequin embellishments. With a pleated translucent ghera, an A-line silhouette, a fluted hem, sequins, and a floor-grazing length, her lehenga is adorned with exquisite floral embroidery.
With a transparent pink dupatta embellished with sequins and appliqué work featuring flowers, Rakul accessorized her lehenga ensemble perfectly. The train skimmed the floor, a floor-sweeping length that she wore over her head like a veil. Her bridal style was completed with a center-parted bun adorned with roses, a simple glam look, a matching mang tika, pink bangles, gold kaleeras, bracelets, earrings, and a hefty choker necklace.
Jackky matched his bride’s ivory sherwani. He was wearing a bandhgala silk jacket with full-length sleeves, a high collar, front closures, and embroidery in gold flower designs. He paired it with matching churidaar pyjamas and a white kurta. He completed the look with a sleekly cut beard, eyeglasses, an emerald and Kundan layered necklace, and an emerald Kalangi on his matching ivory pagdi.
