According to a press release from the US corporation, Accenture Plc plans to expand its commercial services globally by acquiring Mindcurv, a German IT services and data analytics organization.
The digital arm of the parent business, Accenture Song, has agreed to pay an unknown sum to buy the IT services company with its headquarters located in Essen.
The majority of Mindcurv’s clients are headquartered in Europe and work in the manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, health sciences, and chemicals industries. Mindcurv offers digital services to these companies.
With 700 people worldwide, Mindcurv boasts 200 active clients. Of these, 267—more than a third—are situated in its three Indian offices, which are located in Coimbatore, Cochin, and Thiruvananthapuram.
“This strategic move will enhance our ability to provide innovative, tailor-made cloud solutions, empowering clients with an unparalleled end-to-end digital experience in commerce transformation,” stated Max Morielli, president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, at Accenture Song.
“Our strengths combined offer formidable end-to-end digital commerce services, combining innovation, creativity and global reach delivered through an integrative and balanced approach with the support of teams across the countries we operate in,” added Amjad Liaquat and Nazareno Avila, co-founders at Mindcurv in the press statement.
In order to improve its capacity for digital products, Accenture Song has planned to buy Brooklyn-based digital product agency Work & Co. in January 2024.
