The cryptocurrency market traded mixed on Monday with major tokens under pressure even as select altcoins outperformed.
Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s largest cryptocurrency, was down 0.58% in the past 24 hours but continued to hold above the $115,000 mark. Ethereum (ETH) slipped 2.16% to $4,530.94, while BNB eased 1.25% to $920.
Among other majors, Solana (SOL) dropped 3.86% to $236.33, XRP fell 1.89% to $3, and Dogecoin (DOGE) tumbled nearly 7% to $0.26547.
Altcoins showed sharper moves. AVNT stood out as the top gainer, surging 54.59% to $1.25, while meme tokens and smaller names faced selling pressure. PEPE was down 5.50%, ADA (Cardano) fell 4.23%, and SOMI was the biggest laggard, sliding 8.38% to $1.20.
The mixed sentiment highlights continued volatility across the crypto market, with Bitcoin holding steady but altcoins witnessing divergent trends.
