Indian Bank’s newest Executive Director is Brajesh Kumar Singh, for a three-year term

On Sunday, the Central government named Brajesh Kumar Singh as its Executive Director for a three-year term, according to the public sector Indian Bank.

Singh was working for Bank of Baroda as its Chief General Manager of Human Resources before assuming the new role. “…the Central Government vide Notification No 4/1(viii) dated March 9, 2024, appointed Brajesh Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager, Bank of Baroda as Executive Director of Indian Bank for a period of three years, with effect the date of assumption of office on or after March 10, or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” Indian Bank mentioned in a BSE filing on Sunday.

Singh is an agriculture graduate from the Allahabad Agricultural Institute.

He has over 28 years of banking experience and has worked for the Bank of Baroda in a variety of roles, including credit officer, branch head, and regional head.

Using his extensive experience, he has guided Human Resource Management and Retail Assets at the Corporate Office. According to the bank, Singh has also served as a director on the Board of the Bank of Baroda, Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank.
