Amazon Hosts Seller Connects Across India to Power Festive Season Growth

With the festive season around the corner, Amazon has launched its 2025 edition of Seller Connect, a nationwide initiative aimed at helping sellers across India gear up for the high-demand period. The series of events spans 13 cities, engaging sellers through hands-on workshops, expert-led sessions, and personalized business consultations.

Cities like Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, and Panipat have already hosted successful Seller Connects earlier this week. The initiative is now set to reach more metros and tier-2 cities including Jaipur, Kolkata, Indore, Surat, Ludhiana, and Ahmedabad.

These day-long sessions focus on crucial areas such as catalog optimization, advertising strategy, operations planning, and navigating Amazon’s seller tools. The goal is to equip sellers with strategies and tools to drive stronger visibility, efficient inventory management, and higher conversion rates during the festive rush.

Among the key announcements was the launch of Samriddhi, a self-enablement tool on Seller Central that offers sellers customized, data-backed insights to uncover growth opportunities in advertising and inventory planning. This is part of Amazon’s broader strategy to empower small and medium businesses (SMBs) with technology-driven solutions.

“Over the years, Amazon Seller Connect has emerged as a powerful platform that enables meaningful engagement with our sellers across India. It has consistently helped us understand what sellers need to grow their business and prepare effectively for high-demand periods like the festive season. This initiative plays a key role in helping us drive seller success at scale by enabling better adoption of tools, improving planning and execution, and ultimately helping businesses become more competitive and customer-focused on Amazon. We believe when our sellers succeed, we succeed,” said Gaurav Bhatnagar, Director Sales at Amazon India.

Amazon has also made strides in reducing selling costs and streamlining processes. Earlier this year, it introduced a flat shipping rate for multi-unit orders, allowing sellers to save up to 90% on the second unit shipped. Fee reductions announced in April 2025—including zero referral fees on products under ₹300—have further supported SMBs, especially in expanding product selection and offering better pricing.

These initiatives have had a direct impact. Prime Day 2025 saw a 30% year-on-year growth in SMB sales, with 68% of sellers coming from tier 2 and 3 cities, reflecting Amazon’s deepening reach into emerging markets.

Sharing his experience, Aman Jain from Bunkaar Textiles said,

“Amazon’s expanded infrastructure and simplified processes have helped level the playing field for traditional handloom businesses like ours. Being a seller with Amazon.in has enabled us to bring authentic, handcrafted products to customers across India. The recent Seller Connect in Bangalore provided valuable insights into festive season preparation and strengthened our resolve to scale with purpose. We are more excited than ever to deliver high-quality, artisanal textiles to homes across the country.”

With Seller Connect 2025, Amazon is not only preparing its seller base for a successful festive season but also doubling down on its mission to enable inclusive digital commerce and long-term business growth across India.
