Axis Bank has kicked off SPLASH 2025, the latest edition of its annual art, craft and literature competition aimed at schoolchildren across India. The contest, open to participants aged 7 to 14, will run until December 31, with entries accepted online as well as through select on-ground events.
This year’s theme, “Dreams,” encourages children to explore how they imagine their lives and the future. Participants can choose from two sub-themes depending on their age group — A Day in My Dream Life (7–10 years) and The Future as I Dream It (11–14 years). Axis Bank plans to reach more than 11 lakh children through schools, residential societies and its branch network.
A panel of over 100 jurors, including illustrators, educators and members of the art community, will screen the submissions. Among them are Amar Chitra Katha’s Savio Mascarenhas, Ryan International Group’s Dr. Snehal Pinto, and Deepak Patil from The Art Society of India.
Winners will receive cash prizes of ₹1 lakh, while runners-up will be awarded ₹50,000. All 12 finalists will also get a chance to attend an art and craft workshop at Tashkeel in Dubai, and their artwork will be featured at the Museum of Art and Photography (MAP) in Bengaluru. The top 400 entries will receive merchandise and vouchers from partner brands such as Ixigo and American Tourister.
Axis Bank has also introduced an AI-powered “Dream Generator”, allowing children to convert their ideas into digital artworks or written expressions.
Last year, the competition drew more than 9 lakh entries from over 3,300 schools, earning recognition at multiple marketing and customer engagement award platforms.
