CDSL IPF Holds Investor Awareness Programs in Pune

The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) organised Investor Awareness Programs in Pune with the objective of promoting financial literacy and responsible investing among students and faculty.

The programs, conducted at D Y Patil ASC, Akurdi, focused on key topics such as the basics of the securities market, the role of depositories, and methods for making safe and informed investment decisions. The sessions were delivered in Marathi, with experts using everyday examples to simplify complex financial concepts and ensure better engagement with the participants.

“Through such initiatives, CDSL IPF remains committed to spreading financial awareness through similar programs across various regions in the country,” the organisation said.

CDSL IPF regularly conducts such awareness drives independently and in collaboration with SEBI, financial institutions, and educational bodies. In FY 2024-25 alone, it held 2,526 programs across 34 states and union territories, reaching more than 1.47 lakh participants in English, Hindi, and 13 other regional languages.
