Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) has rolled out SafeLog – Vehicle Monitoring System, an IoT-enabled solution designed to make forklift operations safer and more efficient. The system, part of the company’s Material Handling Equipment (MHE) business, aims to help industries adopt data-driven maintenance and improve cost efficiency.
SafeLog provides real-time insights into forklift usage, sends maintenance alerts, and generates fleet analytics. According to GEG, the solution can reduce unplanned downtime by around 10% and improve asset utilization by nearly 15% in warehouses and intralogistics facilities.
Anil Lingayat, Business Head, Material Handling Equipment, Godrej Enterprises Group, said, “SafeLog reflects our commitment to building intelligent, connected solutions for the material handling industry. It enables proactive maintenance, enhances safety, and delivers measurable value to our customers. With innovations like SafeLog, we continue to support the ‘Make in India’ vision while helping industries elevate their operational standards.”
Designed for reliability and scalability, SafeLog can function even in low-connectivity environments. Data is stored on Indian servers to comply with regulatory requirements, and the platform is available on web, Android, and iOS.
GEG also revealed that it plans to integrate artificial intelligence into SafeLog within the next three years to provide predictive maintenance and usage-based solutions.
