The Museum of Solutions (MuSo), Mumbai’s first-of-its-kind children’s museum, brought together over 500 young creators for its two-day art competition — ‘Creative Quotient’ — held on October 11 and 12, 2025. Sponsored by JSW Paints and Apsara, the event aimed to spark imagination, creativity, and self-expression among children aged 9 to 16.
Held at MuSo’s vibrant Lower Parel venue, the competition invited participants to depict their ideas through three thought-provoking themes — ‘Portrait of Your Future Self,’ ‘My Dream World,’ and ‘What Can You Do That AI Can’t Do?’. Children were encouraged to express their imagination through colours, stories, and emotions using various art tools, from watercolours to crayons.
In partnership with ArtyCurate India and Art India Magazine, the initiative aimed to nurture creative thinking in children while inspiring parents and educators to view creativity as an essential life skill. The founders of ArtyCurate — Bhavana, Ruchita, and Heetal — emphasized that in today’s AI-driven world, fostering originality and imagination is key to helping children discover their own voices.
A distinguished jury featuring filmmaker Kiran Rao, advertising legend Mohammed Khan, artists Shilpa Gupta, Sakshi Gupta, Sheetal Gattani, Jayesh Sachdev, curator Gourmoni Das, and advertising professional Preeti Vyas Giannetti, will evaluate entries on originality, concept, and visual impact.
The Top 3 winners in each category will have their artworks featured in Art India Magazine, while three others will see their creations printed on ceramic wall plates by The Plated Project. The Top 50 artworks will be displayed at the MuSo Art Gallery, with winners to be announced on November 2, 2025.
Speaking about the event, Tanvi Jindal Shete, Founder and CEO of MuSo, said,
“At MuSo, we see creativity as a child’s natural language — the way they make sense of the world. Creative Quotient is our way of reminding parents and educators that creativity isn’t a subject to be taught, but a mindset to be nurtured.”
Through initiatives like Creative Quotient, MuSo continues to champion hands-on, joyful learning experiences that build curiosity, confidence, and creativity in children.
