Pune Gets New Experiential Learning Campus as Heritage Expands to Kalyani Nagar

Pune’s education infrastructure received a new addition with the launch of Heritage International Xperiential School (HIXS), an institution built around an experiential learning philosophy that goes beyond textbooks and rote instruction.

Located in Kalyani Nagar, the school aims to offer students hands-on, immersive and inquiry-driven learning experiences. It marks Heritage’s entry into Pune after establishing itself as one of India’s most respected progressive school networks.

The Early Years Summit 2025 marked the school’s launch, with keynote speeches by Early Childhood Specialist Jan Dubiel and Atelierista Sarah Browne.

With the launch of our Pune campus, we’re extending our legacy of over 20-years of authentic, experiential learning to a new community of learners,” said Edward Lawless, Head of School.

The first admissions cycle includes Nursery to Grade 3, with plans to extend to Grade 12. The campus houses dedicated spaces for design thinking, arts, wellness, makerspaces, multi-sensory classrooms and sports, aligning with Heritage’s holistic education ethos.
