VinFast Auto India has inaugurated its biggest showroom in the country, located in the bustling Teynampet area of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This opening represents a key milestone in the company’s expanding presence across India’s electric vehicle (EV) market.
Spanning 4,700 sq. ft, the new facility is the largest among the 35 showrooms VinFast plans to launch nationwide by the end of the year. Operated in partnership with the reputed Maansarovar Motors, the showroom aims to deliver a premium and customer-focused EV experience in the southern region. The location will display VinFast’s electric SUVs — the VF 6 and VF 7 — allowing customers to explore the vehicles and interact with the brand in a fully immersive environment.

VinFast has ambitious plans for the Indian market, with a target of setting up 35 dealerships across over 27 cities by the end of 2025. The company began accepting pre-bookings for its VF 6 and VF 7 models on July 15, 2025, with a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000. Bookings can be made either at showrooms or through the company’s official website VinFastAuto.in.
To support its entry into India, VinFast has formed key partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure for developing a national network of charging infrastructure and after-sales services. The company has also joined hands with BatX Energies to promote battery recycling and help build a circular battery value chain, underscoring its long-term commitment to sustainable innovation.
