Even the most ardent fans of K-Pop artists nearly usually skip one or two of the songs when they come on. However, these are the top ten K-Pop musicians according to fans’ lists of their perfect, non-skippable discographies, as posted on Reddit.
1. Red Velvet
Red Velvet is a female group from South Korea founded by SM Entertainment. They made their debut with the single “Happiness” on August 1, 2014, including Wendy, Joy, Seulgi, and Irene in the quartet band.
2. BTS
South Korean boy band called BTS, formerly known as the Bangtan Boys, was founded in 2010. A massive portion of the content produced by the band is co-written or co-produced by Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. It has developed a fan base across the globe.
3. ENHYPEN
A joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation, is the parent company of Enhypen, a South Korean boy band that was established through the 2020 I-Land survival challenge. The seven individuals that make up the group are Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki.
4. SHINee
In 2008, SM Entertainment formed the South Korean boy band Shinee. The group initially include five members: Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin, and Jonghyun, until the latter passed away in 2017. The group has received multiple awards and have been called the “Princes of K-pop” due to the influence of their music in their nation.
5. Dreamcatcher
Happyface Entertainment formed the South Korean girl group Dreamcatcher. JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon are the group’s seven members. Their single album Nightmare marked their formal debut on January 13, 2017.
6. ATEEZ
KQ Entertainment formed the South Korean boy band Ateez. Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho are the eight members of the group. On October 24, 2018, they made their debut with Treasure EP.1: All to Zero, an extended play.
7. EXO
Exo is a Seoul-based boy band from South Korea that made its debut in 2012 after being established by SM Entertainment in 2011. Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun are the group’s nine members. They are well-known for their music releases and extensive live performances in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.
8. Xdinary Heroes
Launched by JYP Entertainment’s Studio J sub-label, Xdinary Heroes is a rock band from South Korea. The track “Happy Death Day” marked their formal debut on December 6, 2021. Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon are the six members of the band.
9. TXT
Big Hit Entertainment formed the South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together, also known as TXT. Five people make up the group: Yeonjun, Soobin, Taehyun, Beomgyu, and HueningKai. They made their stage debut with the extended play The Dream Chapter: Star on March 4, 2019.
10. IVE
Girl group Ive was founded by Starship Entertainment. There are six members of the group: Leeseo, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Yujin. Ive is well-known for their upbeat tunes and their study of self-love concepts.
