In order to raise money to visit South Korea and physically witness the well-known boy band BTS, three minors organized their own kidnapping. According to an official from the Omerga police station, the girls, who were between the ages of 11 and 13, were to go to Pune to conduct the fictitious kidnapping.

The girls, who are from Maharashtra’s Dharashiv area, wanted to work in Pune so they could travel to see their favorite K-pop stars.

Three girls from Omerga taluka were allegedly removed by force in a school van, according to a call made to the Dharashiv police’s helpline number on December 27. The Omerga police made plans for their course of action right away.

According to the police station officer, they communicated with their counterparts in Mohol and a woman who owns a store at the Mohol bus stop. The state bus that was traveling from Omerga to Pune was successfully located by the police, who also discovered that the number from which they received the kidnapping call belonged to a woman who was also riding in the same bus.

When the bus passed through the Mohol area in Maharashtra’s Solapur district, the authorities were able to track down and arrest the young girls’ parents.

When the BTS fans were questioned the next day, they admitted that the whole incident was plotted and that they did it in order to travel to Pune and make enough money to visit the well-known South Korean pop artists.
