Business tycoon Ratan Tata, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 86, was visited by superstar Aamir Khan and his former wife Kiran Rao at the Mumbai’s National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) for the last rites.

Aamir was seen arriving with his ex-wife on Thursday afternoon to pay his final respects to Ratan Tata. He was spotted in black pants and a grey short kurta, while Kiran was dressed in black pants and a white shirt.
He was observed blending into the gather to honor Ratan Tata.
Khan mentioned in a statement to the media, “Today is a sad day for all of us, and the whole country. What he has done for the nation through his company under his leadership is priceless. He was a rare person. We all will miss him a lot”.
Kiran added: “We were lucky to spend some time with him. He was a good soul, and he is no longer with us. He has done a lot for us”.

Ratan Tata passes away
Ratan Tata, who served as the Tata Group chairman for more than 20 years, passed away on Wednesday at 11.30 p.m. at the Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai. The Padma Vibhushan recipient was admitted to the hospital on Monday for critical treatment. He wrote something on social media early on Monday stating that he was getting checked out for age-related medical concerns and that there was nothing to worry about in terms of his health.
On Thursday morning, a hearse carrying Ratan Tata’s remains, decorated with white flowers was driven from his home to the NCPA in south Mumbai, where it will be stored for guests to pay their final respects. His funeral services will be held at Worli Crematorium in Mumbai. Maharashtra offered him a state funeral.
