Ace actor Song Jae Rim’s last social media post before his demise was 10 months ago

Unexpectedly, on November 12, 2024, South Korean actor Song Jae Rim died at the age of 39.
Song Jae Rim’s last Instagram post was about ten months ago, which left followers feeling sad and yearning despite his hectic profession. However, his account’s bio was recently changed to, “Start of a long journey.”
Although a two-page letter was found at the scene of Song Jae Rim’s earlier today discovery in his apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District, authorities have determined that there are no indications of foul play. The cause of his death is still under investigation.
He had been promoting his most recent dramas, Queen Woo and My Military Valentine, which came out earlier this year. During his most recent guest visit on MBC FM4U’s Good Morning FM in August, he made lighthearted jokes about his future goals, such as his attempts to become a meat processing specialist and a scent expert.
Song Jae Rim, who was born in 1985, became well-known for playing the devoted bodyguard Kim Jae Won in the historical drama The Moon Embracing the Sun (2012). He has been credited to several noteworthy roles including Inspiring Generation, Two Weeks, Goodbye Mr. Black, and the 2024 drama Queen Woo. In 2014, he also hit stardom for starring with actress Kim So Eun on the popular variety show We Got Married.
The procession for Song Jae Rim’s funeral is set for noon on November 14 at the Seoul Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital funeral hall.
